The other day, I found these tiny wild salmon steaks in the freezer section of the supermarket (hard to get fresh fish here) and I cooked one in my grill pan. Chopped it up, served it over greens, with a dill mayo dressing.
I've also been noodling with recipes in the Joy of Cooking. Last week I made chicken breasts on a bed of mushrooms. This week I decided to switch it up and seeif pork chops on a bed of mushrooms would be any good (both times I used sugar-free apple juice instead of wine). The pork was OK, but the chicken is better. I served it with cauliflower mash and mache.
